NBHA BELIZE MARCH 25th 2012
Valerie Thiessen on Lucas, a wonderful gelding we bought from Banana Bank-THANK YOU JOHN CARR! It took me two years to talk him into it but we love this horse!
Then Abigail Coverdale on Saxy...he LOVES to run barrels.
And of course, the head Arena Man "Killah Bean"!
Estuardo, my 14 yr old "kinda sorta son" riding DeNito and by the way...all though I beat him open he ran the fastest time of the day in the youth!
Pics are out of sequence...
this is running home
This is Barrel 1

Quick update
NBHA BELIZE IS HERE!!! WE B OFFICIAL! Our first NBHA run is March 25th at 11:00. See Fb and NBHA Belize if you want more info.
House on hold till Chucks surgeries go well and he can function again.
BEA is up to 23 students, I am running out of time slots and had to add a 4th day to go down that dang road...But I am happy we are busy. And my students are great! They range from 4 to in their 50's...
Weather has been hot and dry but have had rain now for two days and Im so glad, great way to kick off the dry season...
Still have one of Belas "belizian shepermans" to find a good home.
Busy busy life is good...

More progress
After two months of cleaning and bandaging daily, this filly is gonna be fine! There was a 1/2 inch bone area on lateral side and a Proud Flesh product had been used inappropriately on a fresh wound...the lil blue shreds are the remains of the latex stuff that had smeared all over it. Owner was diligent and took over all wrapping/cleaning after three weeks and has done a remarkable job.
A few things going well...
This stud foundered probably over a yr and half ago when he was brought in to country...the hauler has killed many horses and foundered a bunch...then foundered again after he hit a post after being run into the rail at a race track. But again, months ago. Owner to put him back on the track...Uhm yeah no promises there.
he is a much happier boy with his Combi pads on
This little mare had hung her foot up somehow and abcessed 3/4s around and was sloughing her sole, heels and much of her wall. Would not bear weight at all. Now will bare enough to not have to rock onto her hinds to move and we seem to be creating new sole and heels, keeping fingers crossed for rull recovery.
